Privacy Policy

This policy explains how we — the organisers of Raas Rang — handle personal data when you visit this website or book Raas Rang passes. We process personal data in line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable laws.

Information we collect

• Booking details: your name, mobile number and email address, the pass, nights and quantity you choose.
• Payment metadata: Razorpay order and payment IDs, the amount, currency and payment status. We do not receive your full card number, CVV or UPI PIN.
• Entry records: when a ticket is scanned at the gate (time, gate, staff member).
• Technical data: basic server logs such as IP address, used for security and fraud prevention.

Payments

Card, UPI, netbanking and wallet details are entered on and handled by Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. We never store your card or UPI details. Razorpay’s own privacy policy applies to the data you give it.

How we use your information

• To create your booking, issue your QR tickets and send them to you.
• To verify tickets at the gate and prevent fraud or duplicate entry.
• To contact you about your booking or important event changes.
• To handle refunds, support requests and legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Retention

We keep booking and entry records for 12 months after the event and then delete or anonymise them, unless the law requires us to keep them longer (for example, tax or accounting records).

Sharing

• Razorpay — to process payments and refunds.
• Our email provider — only if ticket emails are enabled, to deliver your tickets.
• Hosting and database providers — who store data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
• Authorities — when required by law.

Cookies and local storage

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Gate staff and administrators get a secure session cookie when they log in. Your browser may store a link to your last booking on your own device so you can reopen your tickets; you can clear it any time from your browser settings.

Security

Tickets are cryptographically signed, data is transmitted over HTTPS, and access to booking data is restricted to authorised organisers.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may ask to access, correct or erase your personal data, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, nominate a person to exercise your rights, and raise a grievance. Some data must be retained while your booking is active or as required by law.
